b. 9 Jan 1916; d. 10 Oct 1997 .  Wallace George “Wally” Geske was born to George and Cynthia (Sweet) Geske in Jeffers, MN. He graduated in 1935 from the Jeffers High School and worked for area farmers in his youth.

Shortly after graduation, Wallace enlisted in the U.S. Army and made a career of his service.  Beginning in the 3rd Infantry Division, his years of service included several jobs  including infantry, training, military police, and liaison. He and his family lived in many different cities in many different parts of the world throughout the course of three wars.

On 6 Dec 1941, he married Dolores Sweeney;  they had three children.

After retiring, Wallace and Dolores moved to Windom, MN in 1966 and to Jeffers in 1972.

He is buried at Jeffers Cemetery, Jeffers, MN.
