b. 23 Apr 1921, d. 4 Feb 2004.  Victor W. “Vic” Faust was born to John and Olga (Wille) Faust in Delft, MN. He graduated from Windom High School in 1940. He attended Teacher’s Training in Lamberton, MN and finished his course work in 1941. He taught for 1 year in the Watonwan County Country School before entering the U.S. Army.

Vic served during WWII with the Signal Corp in the South Pacific until his honorable discharge in 1945.

After his service, he began working at the Cottonwood County Auditor’s office.  In 1946, he married Maxine Mason. The couple lived in Windom, where in 1947, Vic became the supervisor of assessments for Cottonwood County until he retired in 1987. They had no children.

He was a member of the American Legion and other organizations.

Buried at the Delft Cemetery in Delft, MN.
