b. 8 Nov 1936; d. 5 Mar 2016.  Roger Dean Junker was born to Ben and Katherine (Janzen) Junker in Mountain Lake, MN. He graduated from Mountain Lake High School in 1954. He worked for the Janzen Brothers Farm near Darfur before his military service.

In 1955, he entered the U.S. Army and served in France until he was honorably discharged in 1957.

After his service, he returned to Mountain Lake and attended school for two years before farming with his brother. In 1960, he married Judy Hanson; they had 2 children.  The family farmed near Mountain Lake for the rest of his life.  Roger also served on the Darfur Elevator Board.

Buried at the Mountain Lake City Cemetery.
