b. 23 Dec 1925; d. 17 Nov 1998.  Richard H. Larson, son of Erick and Mary (Freid) Larson, was born in Woodstock, MN.  He grew up and attended elementary school in Dundee, MN, before attending high school at Okabena, MN, for several years.  He graduated from Fulda High School in Fulda, MN.

Richard enlisted in the U.S. Navy in Mar 1944, during World War II.  He served his country during World War II, the Korean War, and the Vietnam War, retiring as a Lieutenant Commander in 1974 after thirty years of service.  After retiring, he moved to Dundee and spent time restoring two homes.

Richard married Gwendolyn Fischer in Jul 1954; they lived in San Diego, CA.  Gwendolyn died in 1973.  Richard married Lois Johnson in Feb 1981 in San Diego; they lived in Dundee until 1986 before returning to San Diego to live.  They moved to Minnestrista, MN, in 1997.  Richard passed away there in 1998 and is buried at Saint Gabriel Cemetery, Murray County, MN.
