b. 13 Jan 1918, d. 22 Aug 1998. Richard Henry Anderson was born in Storden Twp., Cottonwood County, MN to Henry and Randa (Engebretson) Anderson. He received his education in Storden and graduated from high school in 1936.

He entered the Army Air Corps on 13 Jan 1942 and served in England in 1942 and in Egypt in 1945.

He married Estelle Jones in 1944. They had 3 children.  After his honorable discharge, the couple farmed near Storden until retiring in 1985.  For 23 years he was a Pioneer Seed dealer. He was a member of the Storden VFW and American Legion and served on the Storden School Board and Storden Elevator Board.

Buried in the Bethany Lutheran Cemetery in Storden, MN.
