b. 02 Jan 1926;   d. 14 Jul 1948.   Ralph Albert Foster was born to Leo and Belle (Bowden) Foster in Littlefork, MN. He was educated and received his early religious training in Littlefork. In 1942, Ralph’s family moved to a farm near Jeffers, MN and then into the town of Jeffers where his parents owned a business.

He entered the U.S. Army in 1946 and served as a Paratrooper for eighteen months at the Aberdeen Proving Grounds, MD;  he was discharged in July 1947.

After his discharge, he moved with his parents to Whitefish, Montana where he was employed by the Plum Creek Lumber Company. In July 1948, while he was unloading a truck load of logs, one fell on him, killing him instantly.

He was buried at the Amo Methodist Cemetery, Cottonwood Co., MN.
