b. 8 Aug 1921, d. 21 Nov 1996.  Marvin J. Jensen was born to John and Bertha (Nelson) Jensen in Storden Twp., Cottonwood Co., MN.

During WWII, he served in the U.S. Marine Corps  and participated in action at Tarawa, Gilbert Island, Saipan, Marianes Island, Okinawa, and the Ryuku Islands.

In 1945, Marvin returned to the Westbrook area.  He married Orlean Nelson in 1946; they had 1 daughter.

Marvin was self-employed and lived in LaSalle, MN for many years before moving to Cheyenne, WY.

Buried at the Westbrook Cemetery, Westbrook, MN.
