b. 15 Feb 1917, d. 10 Nov 2001.  Kathryn “Kay” Margaret (Westberg) Campbell was born to Nels and Hulda (Malmrose) Westberg in Fergus Falls, MN. She graduated from McIntosh Public Schools and then attended one year of normal training and then taught in several rural schools in northern MN. In 1942, Kay entered the Navy as a WAVE and taught ground school flying. After she was honorably discharged in 1945, she attended St. Cloud Teacher’s College.  After graduation in 1948, she came to Windom, MN to teach social studies.  She married David C. Campbell on 30 Aug 1951.  After marriage they lived in Indianapolis where David was in the service. In 1953 they returned to Windom where Kay worked as a receptionist in a doctor’s office until 1958 when she began teaching again.  She retired from teaching in 1981.   In 1982 Kay and Dave began an antique business which continued up until the time of her death.  Buried at Lakeview Cemetery at Windom, MN.
