b. 26 Mar 1915; d. 27 Nov 1975.  Joseph Albert Marshall was born to Jacob C. and Mary R. (Finnell) Marshall in Ghent, MN.

On 1 Jun 1942, he was inducted into the U.S. Army and served 3 years overseas during WWII.  He received a Purple Heart and Bronze Star and was honorably discharged on 14 Oct 1945.

On 21 Dec 1945, he married Virginia Hubin; they had 8 children.

In 1946, they moved to Westbrook and started a freight and livestock trucking business.  Joseph was also employed by Rupp Construction and Mueller Excavating and hadmanaged gravel pit operations in Belle Plaine, MN.

Buried at Westbrook Cemetery, Westbrook, MN.
