b. 30 Mar 1920, d. 31 Jan 2000.  Harvey Sylvan Iverson was born to Henry and Laurena (Nessen) Iverson in Highwater Twp., Cottonwood Co., MN. He graduated from Lamberton High School in Lamberton, MN, in 1938.

From Feb 1942 to Nov 1945, he served in the U.S. Army during WWII.  Harvey went into the Army Air Corp in 1945 and received his training at Lowry Field in Colorado and later became an instructor for the  Air Corp Gunnery school at Boca Ratan Field, Florida.

On 25 Oct 1943, he married Lorraine Bruns; they had 3 children.

After his discharge, the Iverson family lived in Fairmont where Harvey worked at the E.E. Olson Furniture Store. In 1948, the family moved to Storden, where Harvey did carpentry work with his father.  He also operated the movie theater in Storden and was a custodian at the Storden school. In addition, he was a salesman for a custodial supply company and traveled throughout southwest MN for 20 years. In Mar 1985, he retired.

Harvey was a Boy Scout Master and a member of the Storden American Legion and Commander twice.

Buried at Bethany Lutheran Cemetery, Storden, MN.
