b.  8 Mar 1921; d. 19 Dec 2000.  Born to Ernest J. and Mary (Wasmann) Cambronne in Nelson Twp., Watonwan Co., MN.  Graduated from Lamberton High School, Lamberton, MN in 1939.  During WWII, he served in the U.S. Navy on the USS Monnis in the Pacific Theater.  In 1946, he was honorably discharged and returned to MN. On 17 Jun 1943, he married Muriel Marks.  After his return from the service, they farmed the “home farm” north of Jeffers for 9 years before moving to Storden, MN in 1957. In Storden, Donald was employed by Farmer’s Grain Company and then was an independent tool distributor for the Snapon Company and later Mac Tools.  After retirement, he and Muriel operated a photography studio and took many wedding pictures. Buried at Bethany Lutheran Cemetery at Storden, MN.
