b. 04 Oct 1939.  Dennis Frederick Lidtke, son of Harold and Pearl (Uttich) Lidtke, graduated from Storden High School in Storden, MN in 1957.

He enlisted in the U.S. Army in Jan 1958 and was assigned to Fort Carson, CO, for basic training. After completing basic training, Dennis was transferred to Fort Ord, CA, and then – later in 1958 – to Aberdeen Proving Grounds, MD, where he completed Automotive Repair training.  He was then sent overseas in late 1958. In 1960, Dennis was stationed at Fort McCoy, WI.  He was discharged in Jan 1961.
