b. 16 Nov 1917, d. 14 Aug 1993.  Arnold Higley was born to Benjamin W. and Marie E. (Ehert) Higley at Lake Park, IA. He graduated from Lake Park High School.

On 29 Sep 1939, he married Viola Pearl Olson; they had 4 children and lived in Iowa until moving to Westbrook, MN in 1945.  While living in Westbrook, he was employed at Klasse Ford Sales and Service as a mechanic.

During WWII, he served as an officer in the Army Air Corp from 1942-1945.

In 1960, the family moved to Windom where he purchased the Ford-Mercury Business. He and his wife operated the business until it was turned over to one of their sons, Steve.

Member of the American Legion.

Buried at Lakeview Cemetery, Windom, MN.
